Birdie Mckever Obituary


Mrs. Birdie Mae Brown McKever, entered into eternal rest on April 15, 2018.    She was born to Sister Willie Mae Davis Brown and the late Deacon Harrison Brown of Pamplico, SC on .
Birdie attended Gibbs High School.  She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Sylvester McKever in April, 1981.   Birdie had been employed by Electric Motors Manufacturer in Florence, SC and later on a housewife.
She was a lifetime member of the House of God Church in Pamplico, SC where she served as a lead vocalist in the Gospel choir.  She was loyal and faithful in all her duties. 
Birdie was preceded in death by her father, Harrison Brown; her mother Willie Mae Davis Brown; her brother Ben Brown; her sisters Betty Ann Brown, Sarah Ann Brown Timmons, and JoAnn Brown; her son Michael Foster; and her nephew Ron Brown.
She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory:  Deacon Sylvester McKever; her sons Mitchell (Joyce) Foster, Onnie Lee Foxworth, and one daughter Debra Ann Foster; Five step-children Bonnie McKever, Sylvia Brown, Sylvester McKever, II, Jenneal (Randy) McClurkin and Darrell (Cynthia) McKever;  her brothers Fred (Patricia) Brown of Florence, SC, Ronnie (Margaret) Brown and Manual Brown all of Scranton, SC; three sisters:  Marie Brown Grant of Winston Salem, NC, Minnie Timmons of Pamplico and Ruby Lee Mullins of Scranton, SC; four special grandchildren Danzell Williams of Scranton, SC, Gabrielle Foster of Marion, SC, Ashlyn McKever of Florence, SC and Demettree Foster of Sweetwater, TN; four sister in laws; Special Friend Marshell W. McKever of Florence, SC and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
