Eugene Winwood Jackson

Eugene Winwood Jackson age 65, was born August 12, 1952 in Norfolk, Virginia to the Late Mr. Arthur and Mrs.
Queen Ester Ellison Jackson. He transitioned from labor to eternal rest on Thursday January 4, 2018 at McLeod
Regional Medical Center.
Eugene was educated in the public schools of Darlington, SC, graduating class 1972. He worked for Overnite
Transportation (UPS Freight) as a driver for thirty-eight (38)
Years, where he was honored as a Three Million Miles Accident Free Driver.
Eugene was baptized at an early age. He was married to Mrs. Lena Mae Daniels Jackson for 35 years. He
was a loner that had a friendly and easy spirit that was easy to meet anyone. Although he had a compassion
for many type of sports, his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboy.
 
Eugene was preceded by his Father, Authur (Bozo) Jackson, Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, two Step Sons,
Sheldon Daniels and Kennedy (Jab) Windom, Nephew Dominque Jackson and Brother-in- Law Willie Daniels.
Eugene leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Lena of the home, Mother, Queen Ester Jackson of Darlington,
SC, Three Step Children, Tamesha D. Kennedy of Florence, Jeremiah D. Kennedy of Myrtle Beach, James D.
Kennedy and one special Son/Cousin Rodney (Michelle) Lambert both of Atlanta, Ga. Six Grand Children: Dion
(DJ) Lambert, Zacc Heaus, Scooter Ross, Danyelle Dorsey, Zenia Kennedy, Taylar Kennedy and Kennedy
Washington. One Brother, Carl (Sylvia) Blair of Charlotte, NC, two Sisters, Josephine Jackson of Darlington, SC
and Terrisina Jackson of Florence, SC. Sis-in- Law, Hannah Gurley of Florence. Brother-in- Laws, Walter Douglas,
James C., Albert Ray, Lee, and Jerome (Joeann) Daniels, one very special cousin Lila Backus of Green Springs,
Ohio. Several nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and relatives and friends.
