Obituary

Bertha Mae Munford was born on November 27, 1944 in Florence, SC. She born to the late Mr. Booker’T Durant, Sr and Mrs. Alma Albert Durant. On Saturday February 10, 2018, she was called home to be with the Lord.

Bertha worked at WBTW-13 News in the housekeeping department and love being a homemaker. Her favorite hobbies were cooking, fishing and dancing. Also she was a very devoted member to Monumental Missionary Baptist church.

Bertha preceded in death her husband Henry Munford, a son Henry Munford, Jr., and one great-grandson Mikel Graham.

Bertha leaves to cherish her fond memories: her daughters; Loretta (Alvin) Hennigan, Debra Mack, and Wanda Mumford. Seven grandchildren; Torry Kirk, Yolanda Mumford, Travis Kirk, Coty Mumford, Kheris Mumford, Rakeem Hennigan, Raheem Hennigan. One brother Booker’T Durant, Jr. One aunt Bertha Connors. One uncle Maxie Albert. Two loving dear friends Mattie Johnson and Mary Briggs. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
