She fought a good fight finished her course and kept the faith.

Our dearest sister mother, grandmother, grandmother, godmother, and friend Birdie E. Hunter entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November the 24th, 2021. She is survived by brothers Thaddeus Moses,  Jerome Moses and Bishop James Moses, and three sisters Nettie Mae McClam, Sarah Henneghan, and Virginia Ann Moses.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Valerie Hennighan Price , and a son David L. Moses both from Bridgetport, Ct, A sister Elder Lula M. Brown of Bridgetport, Ct, Two brothers, Dr. Oral L. Moses of Smyrna, Georgia, Rev. Fred Moses (Mary) of Plano, Texas. She has four Sisters In-Laws as well a host of Neice’s, Nephews other relatives and friends. She also leaves to cherish her memories a special best friend Ms. Frances Henneghan.

Birdie was preceded in death by  her parents:  father Otis Moses, mother Elveta Moses, preceded by 2 children Christopher Alexander Hunter and Dennis Fitzgerald Hunter  and 6 siblings.

Birdie was born April 30th,1945 in Coward, South Carolina. She graduated from Housatonic Community College with 2 Associates Degrees and 1975.. While at Houstonic Community College Birdie received a Certificate in Recognition of Student Senate Service, Leadership Ability Afrodisiac Society, Leadership Ability and Organizational Ability, Black Students Committed to Action, Who Who's Among Students In America Junior College. Birdie  listed into the United States Army. She completed The United States Army Infantry Center. Birdie E. Hunter received a certificate and awarded recognition  of Ten Years of service in the Government of the United States of America were she retired.
