Ms. Carolyn Johnson was born to the late Queen Godfrey and Thomas Jackson on May 28, 1951 in Florence, SC.  On Tuesday November 13, 2018, God called one of his angels home.

Carolyn was a graduated of Wilson High School. Later in life, she continued  to further her education by pursuing a nursing career. She attended Marion County School of Practical Nursing and completed the program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Carolyn was a  faithful and diligent worker as a nurse. She was an employed at Faith Nursing Home for 10 years and Florence Nursing Services for 5 years.

She attended Majority Baptist Church and was a former member of the YWA.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother Queen Godfrey, father Thomas Jackson, and  her brothers; Howard Johnson and Willie Godfrey.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories: her nephews whom she loved as her sons;  De’Angelo Lee of Florence, SC, Charles (Yewande) Pagan of Charlotte, NC, and Chas Pagon of Charlotte, Nc. Two brothers ; James (Debra) Godfrey of San Jose, CA, and Ben Jackson of Darlington, SC. Three sisters ; Gloria Pagan of Fayetteville, NC, Jackie Johnson Springer, and a special sister Charlie Mae William. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks: to
