September 7, 1942 – October 24, 2018
Chester Moore Jr. was born on September 7, 1942 to the late Chester Moore Sr. and Miller Filmore. His grandmother, the late Eugena Williams, raised him. He entered into eternal rest on October 24, 2018 at McLeod Hospital.
Chester received his education in the Florence School District. He was a hard worker even as a teenager. The jobs he held was at Malcom Seafood, Aiken and Company, and retired from Dupont. He enjoyed family and friends and loved working in the yard. Chester loved to dance and entertain family members. He resided at Honorage Nursing Home for a few years during his illness.
Chester will be remembered for his dancing and entertaining. One of his favorite songs was “Soul Heaven” by Johnny Taylor.
He is preceded to the grave by two brothers Leroy and Luther.
He leave to cherish his memories: his loving wife Louise Moore. Two sons: Chester (Jenny) Moore III of NJ and Chester (Denora) Moore II. Two daughters: Diana Moore and Carol Ann Moore both of Florence, SC. One brother Albert Moore of Clayton, Nc. Sisters; Myrtle Mckiver of NY, Willie Mae Moore, Lena Moore, Margaret Moore of Jackson, NC. Brother-in-law; Edward (Nathaleen) Ingram, Wesley (Doris) Ingram of Florence, SC. Aaron (Cha-Cha) Ingram, of NJ. Sister-in-laws Diane Jerido of NJ and Nancy Ingram of SC. His nine grands and six great grands. A host of nieces and nephews. A special cousin Kathy Goodman.
