On October 18, 1982, Albert Josey and Diana Josey gave birth to a beautiful girl and named her Demetrious Alshillia Josey .  “Peaches” attend school in Lamar, SC.  She graduated from Lamar High School with the class of 2001.   After high school, she attended Francis Marion College and majored in Psychology.

Later in life, Demetrious became a mother.  She gave birth to two wonderful kids, Darian Randall and Alexandrya Josey.  She was a loving mother and a dear friend to many.  She loved to cook, travel, shop, and attend church at Divine Destiny.    She was always happy, never met a stranger and enjoyed encouraging others.

On November 11, 2019, Peaches became ill and passed away at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

“Peaches” preceded in death by her mother Diana Josey and father Albert Josey.

She leaves behind two children; Darian Randall and Alexander Josey.  Two brothers; Gregory (Shalam) Josey of Lake Norman, NC and Torrey (Loretta) Josey of Charlotte, NC.  Grandmother, Sis Ruby Lee Josey of Medford Nursing Home of Darlington, SC.  God parents of Darien and Alexandrya and Best friend of 25 years Kerstin McDuffie and Reginal McDuffie.  Nieces and nephews, Katora Lorraine, Melany Divine, Chance Torey, Jabari Isaiah, and Nyseer Zariah Samira.  A host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.
