Derrick LaFayette Bradley, born January 29, 1978 in Florence, South Carolina, a son of Alexander Hamilton Bradley, Sr. and Joann Merritts Bradley. He departed this world on Tuesday, December 5, 2017.
Derrick attended public schools in Florence County and worked in several capacities of skilled labor.
Derrick was preceded in death by his mother Joann Merritts Bradley; loving sister Meca Sharonne Bradley; grandfather Abraham (Jaunita) Merritts , and Elzworth (Tearetha) Bradley; and loving aunt Theann Tene Bradley Lane.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two brothers, Alexander (Jennifer)  Bradley, Jr. of Florence, SC, and Jeremy Paul McNeil, of Midland TX; nine aunts, Ethelene (Isaiah) Kennedy, Elizabeth (Billy) Young of Effingham, SC; Mary Alice Gregg of Florence, SC; Juanita (Samuel) Mitchell of Atlanta, GA; Jackie Anthony Williams of Rocky Mount, NC; Mildred (Lewis) Carter of Columbia SC; Barbara (Robert) Elom of Fayetteville NC; Sandra (Hans) Bradley Goemans of County Wicklow (Ireland); and Judi (George) Haynesworth of Pompano Beach, FL; two uncles Rev. Eddie (Bobbie) Gregg of Florence, SC; Abraham (Esther) Merritts of Marion, SC; Roosevelt (Arletta) Merritts of Cincinnati, OH; George (Jeanette) Ralph Bradley of Charleston, SC; Alphonso (Hildegard) Bradley of Ansbach Germany; one nephew Alexander Bradley, III and other relatives, and many close friends.
