The soul of Mr. Earl T. Hines was gently called home on     Sunday, October 25, 2020 in the McLeod Regional Medical Center. “Pop” as he was affectionately called was born in Harrisburg Pennsylvania August 21, 1939 the son of Mr. Adelia Hines and Mrs. Martha Hines.

He attended school in the Bronx, New York school system and later enlisted in the Air Force in July 1958. He served 4 years and was honorably discharged, after leaving the Air Force he moved to Florence, SC.  He worked as a housekeeping staff member at McLeod Regional Medical Center when he met and fell in love with Azelee, not only did he love her he loved her family as well and as time passed they were joined in Holy matrimony on February 6, 2014.  He was a member of Monumental Baptist Church.  He was a quiet, gentle and caring man who enjoyed a variety of music, he love reading and he love doing puzzles.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Adelia Hines and Mrs. Martha Hines.  He left behind a host of unknowing relatives, but he did have a loving family that loved and cared for him these past 14 years. We will miss him dearly.
