Mrs. Mary R. Mejias, daughter of the late Leroy and Willie Mae Hunt, was born February 29, 1956 in Wren, GA.  She departed this earthly life on Monday, January 6, 2020.

Mary received her Bachelor’s of Science from the Southern Illinois University.  She began her career at the Medical College of Georgia.  Later in life, she became a director of Human Resources at Palmetto Richland and Marion Regional before founding Mejias Medical Training Center.  Mejias Medical Training Center was a beginning health career from many people because Mrs. Mary gave many a starting opportunity in healthcare.

In her spare time Mary was a devote and dedicated Jehovah’s Witness and enjoyed her time spent working in the ministry field.

Preceding her in death are her parents; Leroy and Willie Mae Hunt .

She leaves to cherish her fond memories; her husband Mr. William Mejias. Eight children: Derrick (Casey) Martin, Tremayne (Gina) Roman, Donavon Ramon, and Alysia Mejias all of Florence, SC, Vincent (Shira) Martin of Augusta, GA, William (Becky) Mejias, Jr. of San Antonina, TX, Kiesha (Dave) Furguson of Charleston, SC,  and Joseph (Mindy) Mejias of Okinawa, Japan. Two sibling: James (Judy) Hunt of Spartanburg, SC and Eddie Hunt of Augusta, GA. Thirty-one grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
