On Sunday, April 7th a promise was fulfilled.  A servant of the Lord was given her crown of glory;

Patricia Ann McMillian.

Patricia was born April 11, 1950 to Estelle and Johnnre Preacher.  One of six children. Three have preceded her in death Herbert Hamilton, Willie Mae Pryor, and Juanita Attaway.  Survived by one sister Deborah Preacher of Washington D.C. and one brother Lewis (Gloria) Preacher of Florence, SC.

Born and raised in Allendale, SC. Patricia worked for Pepsi until her health declined.  She attended Church of Christ Effingham, SC where she served faithfully.

She was joined in holy matrimony to Leroy McMillian for many years until his passing in 2008.  To this union two children were born.  Deshawn (Deshell) Preacher and Teresa McMillian of Florence, SC. She was blessed with three addition children to this union; Lizzie (Jessie) Jones, Christina (Lorenzo) Jackson-Scott, Bernice (Jr.) Cooks.  Three grandchildren of whom she helped raise Makalia, Kashauna, and Kamari Preacher of Florence, SC and eight additional grandchildren, two sisters-in-law,

two brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends all she loved dearly.
