Ms. Sarah Thomas, was the daughter of the late Vivan Ann Robinson and John Henry Thomas.  She was born on  July 17, 1952 in Irmo, South Carolina.   She was called home into eternal rest on February 13, 2019 in Florence, South Carolina.

She attended the public schools in Columbia , SC. She was never married.

Sister Sarah was a member of The House of God Church in Bishopville, where she was known as Sister Sarah.  She confessed to having the Holy Ghost and was a faithful worker in the Lord’s house.  Sister Sarah served on the usher board and was over the kitchen committee, and a trustee of the church.  Although she became sick, she pressed her way until she was no longer able to attend.  She was a continual partaker in the Lord’s supper.  She loved her church and everyone.

Sister Sarah is preceded in death by her two sons, Aaron Jermone Thomas and Thaddus Holmes. Two sisters; Viola Thomas Werts and Brenda Thomas Martin.  Three brothers; Melvin Thomas, Curtis Thomas, and Tilliman Thomas.

Sister Sarah  leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Cliva Deasmean and Meco Holmes. Two grandchildren, Gregory J. Thomas and Madison Pooler.  A host of  relatives, cousins and friends.
