Thomas Lee Goldwire

Funeral services for Thomas Lee (Buddha) Goldwire will be conducted 1:00PM, Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Southern Calvary Baptist Church, Jefferson Street Florence, SC.

Burial will take place in North View Cemetery.  He died on Thursday, January 4th, at Springs Hospital in Lancaster SC after an illness.

Thomas was born May 3, 1950 in Florence, SC to the late George and Albertha Goldwire.  He was a graduate of Wilson High School, Florence, SC.  He attended Denmark Area Trade School which now known as Denmark Technical College in Denmark, SC.  He was a licensed air condition and refrigeration repairman.  He worked at Binswager Glass company in Florence, SC and Air Condition Repair Company in Florence, SC, Lake City, SC and Columbia, SC.  He also worked as a drill-press operator in Hollywood Florida.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Dennis, Willie Bee, and one sister, Ernestine (Goldwire) Adams.  He is survived by one brother, James E. Goldwire and one brother in law, Monty Adams. He is also survived by George and James and many other nephews, nieces, cousins, and family members and friends.
