Evangelist Betty Ann Carr was born June 29, 1962 in Florence, South Carolina to Rosa Lee Ellis. She passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.
Betty was educated in the Public Schools of Florence County and continued her Higher Education at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, North Carolina where she received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development. A certified Medical Secretary,
Betty was employed by Florence County I.T. Department as an Administrative Assistant for a number of years.
Betty’s hobbies included fishing, bowling, crafting, collecting dolls and traveling. She was extremely passionate about Christ, In her latter days she had a renewed comment to her faith, God and ministry. She loved playing the tambourine.
Betty is survived by her husband
Bishop Mark A Carr , Founder and Presiding Prelate of New Covenant Church of God Ministries,
a daughter, Samantha Ellis of Rincon, Georgia; a son, Christopher (Mae-gan) Ellis of Durham, North Carolina; a step son Mark Carr Jr and step daughter Nakia Carr, her mother, Rosa Lee Ellis, two sisters, one brother a host of nieces, grand children, nephews, aunts, uncles, sister in-laws, brother in-laws, extended family and friends.
