Betty Wilson Obituary

Mrs. Betty Ann Wilson  was born on April 1, 1946 and passed away on this earthly life on Thursday, November 5, 2020.

 

              Betty was educated by Berkeley  County Public Schools. She was a dedicated member of her church where she sung on the choir and served on the usher board.  She worked at Mcleod Hospital until she retired.  At an early age, Betty attended Holy Rock Christian Church in Bonneau, SC where she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She later moved to Florence, SC and became a member of Wayside Baptist Church. She faithfully served on the Usher Board and sang on the Mass choir. Betty loved to travel and enjoyed going on cruises and church trips during her retirement.

February 1967, Betty was joined in holy matrimony to the late Mr. James Wilson. She was blessed with three children to this union and one child prior to marriage. 

 

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James, her parents, and a son, Harry

 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Joe Jones and Laura Jones, husband James Wilson, and her Aunt Queen Allen.

 

Betty was a wonderful mother, grandmother and she made friends with everyone even if you meet her for the first time she would  capture your heart. She loved cooking for family and friends, that was her passion. If you needed someone to talk to she was there.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories a her children Sylvia (Pastor Alexander) Washington of Bonneau, SC, James (Laronda) Wilson of Florence, SC, and Antigo Wilson of Florence, SC.   She's also survived by 2 sisters and 2  Brothers.  14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, friend Mr. Wayne Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
