Subrenia Tate was born on July 7th, 1965 in Hemingway, SC. On Friday, February 26th, 2021 she entered into eternal rest at her home in Pamplico, SC.
At an early age, Subrenia’s family uprooted and moved up north. She was raised in Newark, NJ by her loving parents Retha Hall and the late Ulysses Hall. Subrenia was one of nine children.
Subrenia completed her education at Irvington High School in NJ. Later she started a career at Lincoln Park Nursing Center where she worked for several years. She loved helping people and had a big heart, so she began trade in the nursing field. She became a Certified Nursing Aide in New Jersey.
Subrenia met the love of her life Cary Tate Sr. The two were married May 26th, 2001. With this union they were blessed with seven children and four grandchildren. As their kids got older, they bought a home and moved to Pamplico, SC to finish raising their children.
Subrenia is proceeded in death by her husband Cary Tate Sr, her father Ulysses Hall, and grandson Olive Coleman.
Subrenia leaves to cherish her loving memories her children: Melvin Smith Jr, Sean Smith, Siedah Tate, Shakeerah (Jamil) Coleman, Tyrell (Sarah) Smith, Lorrin Tate, and Cary Tate Jr. Grandchildren: Porsha Lowery, Jaquae Coleman, Nova Smith, and Sariah Coleman. Sisters: Rhonda (Jessie) Watts and Valerie Robinson. Brothers: Glen Pressley, James Pressley, Larry Pressley, Ellison (Cynthia) Pressley, Timmie Pressley, Andrew (Erika) Pressley, and Gary Haith. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
